Listspam: Read in 2013, Part 2

Continuing the posting of mostly-pointless lists, here are all the comics and graphic novels I read in 2013. This was the year I really got into comics – I have read more of these this year than in my entire life previously, I think.

Highlights:

So many good things! It’s easier to mention what I was underwhelmed by. Manhattan Projects didn’t grab me – It’s been getting a lot of praise, but I just didn’t see the appeal, and didn’t get the next volume. Similarly, I wasn’t really very impressed by the first volume of Hellboy.

On the good side, though, Locke & Key is incredible, Saga is great so far. Y: The Last Man was just excellent throughout, as was Transmetropolitan. I very much enjoyed I Kill Giants and Daytripper. But I can say everything on this list is worth checking out. I’m sure there’ll be a list just as long next year.

Tomorrow: Reading statistics for 2013.
